03/08 Lady Marian sensational 2nd in German Oaks

3yo LADY MARIAN (Nayef - LA FELICITA) finished second in the Preis der Diana - German Oaks, Gr.1, just beaten by a neck. LADY MARIAN (bay dress), bred by Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg at their Schlossgut Itlingen, was sold at the BBAG Yearling Sale to Rennstall Gestut Hachtsee. She is trained by Werner Baltromei and was ridden by Dominique Boeuf, who has driven her already to a convincing win in the Jungheinrich Gabelstapler-Preis, Gr.3 at the Derby-Meeting in Hamburg. Beside LUCIDOR (right winning a Gr.3 in Bremen) is LADY MARIAN now the second Group winner from only three runners out of LA FELICITA, the first homebred broodmare of Marion and Philipp.

There will be seven yearlings consigned to the BBAG Yearling Sale in 2008 by Schlossgut Itlingen. The consignment can be viewed under Horses For Sale.
