CALRISSIAN won again a Stakes

and more good results across Europe

LADY MARIAN (Nayef-LA FELICITA) bred by Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg, started of the weekend with a fourth place in the Irish National Stud Blandford Stakes, Gr.2 on the Curragh in unsuitable very soft conditions. This race was won by a Stauffenberg bred horse in 2007, when FOUR SINS (Sinndar-FOUR ROSES) won in the colours of HH Aga Khan. LADY MARIAN was sold at the BBAG Yearling Sale and the filly is now running in the colours of Godolphin. Her next target will be the Prix de l´Opera, Gr.1, a race she won last year.

On Sunday CALRISSIAN (Efisio-CENTAINE) wins the Koenigsegg Taeby Open Sprint Championship, L. on the best race day in Scandinavia and his second Stakes race of the season. Bred by Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg, CALRISSIAN is running in the colours of Provence Hotels Holding, who purchased him at the BBAG Yearling Sale. However his 3yo sister CENT CHEVEUX BLANC (Pentire) retained by her breeders finished a good fourth in the Grosser Preis der Metallbau Burghardt GmbH, L. in Hannover.

In the east of Europe 2yo FIERY WING (Dalakhani-FIREDANCE) gave his debut in one of the most valuable races in Slovakia, the Vel´ka cena BBAG Baden-Baden, L. where he finished a good fourth. He is a BBAG graduate as well, having been sold to Pavol Vigas as a yearling.
