03/09 Golden Whip now a Stakes winner

13 years after her dam she won a Listed in Baden-Baden as well

3yo filly GOLDEN WHIP (Seattle Dancer-GENEVRA) fighted successfully in the Coolmore Stud - Baden-Baden Cup, L. and provided her owners and breeders Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg with their first blacktyped victory in 2010. Bred and raised at their SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN GOLDEN WHIP is the seventh foal and seventh winner out of GENEVRA.

The mare herself won 13 years ago at 3 among others the Preis des Casino Baden-Baden, a Stakes race during the Baden-Baden Grosse Woche. Now her daughter became finally the first Stakes winner for her dam. What it made even more emotional, that GOLDEN WHIP is by SEATTLE DANCER, a stallion STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK started its success story 15 years ago, when QUE BELLE was bought as a yearling and became dual Classic winner in 1997. 2 years later ROSE OF ZOLLERN, a foal purchase followed and finally the stallion was imported to stand in Germany in 2002. GOLDEN WHIP is from his last crop, which contains an other top filly MAHAMAYA.

It was a well timed victory as well, as just a few hours after the success of GOLDEN WHIP, her yearling sister GOLDEN ERA was sold in the sales ring and that her sister won this Stakes in the afternoon was definetly no harm.
