STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK could celebrate two winners today, both fillies, both well bred, both bought at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales - two different aims, two different prizes, two different wins.
First won IROMEA by DANSILI at Vichy the Prix Madame Jean Coutourie, L. in the colours of Haras de Saint Pair. She is trained by Francois Rohaut and was ridden by Vincent Cheminaud. IROMEA was purchased by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK in 2013 on behalf of the Haras de Saint Pair. As a close relative to GREY LILAS, she has a very good page and could be a nice addition to the broodmare band of ambitious Andres Putsch. Bought for GNS150.000 her already high value has now risen considerably again.
Later in the evening PERFECT MOOD by HIGH CHAPARRAL finally won her Maiden at Bad Harzburg in the colours of Stall Ramon, trained by Sascha Smrczek and ridden by Eddie Pedoza. PERFECT MOOD was resold by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the BBAG Yearling Sales to Panorama Bloodstock and is a sister to Gr.3 winner GOOD MOOD. Purchased in a private deal for GNS14.000 after she failed to sell in the ring, PERFECT MOOD has risen her value as well and could be a potentially nice broodmare for her owners.
