The colt LORD LENNOX (Maxios-LA REINE NOIR) became the second winner for his dam winning his Maiden convincingly in Australia at Geelong Racecourse. Owned by a syndicate around Australian Bloodstock and trained by Robbie Griffiths he was ridden by Jamie Mott. Bred by Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg at their SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN, the colt from the first crop of MAXIOS was originally sold by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the BBAG Yearling Sales to a partnership between Flaxman Holdings, the breeders of his sire and Stiftung Gestut Fahrhof where the stallion resides. Put in training with Pascal Bary in France, LORD LENNOX was placed a couple of times before his sale Down Under. The other winner out of LA REINE NOIR is LA BOHEME by MONTJEU, who won in the colours of Jon Kelly and Broookdale Farm in the USA and is now serving as a broodmare for Adena Springs of the Stronach family.

LA REINE NOIR was quite unlucky so far, as her first foal, the one eyed LA GRASETTA by NAYEF broke her Tibia in a race and LIAISON DANGEREUSE by LAWMAN broke her pelvis in a horse walker while in pretraining. Her 3yo L'ALEXANDER, an own brother to LORD LENNOX is in training in France, while a 2yo filly LONDON by LORD OF ENGLAND is in training in England.

LA REINE NOIR is booked to LORD OF ENGLAND again.
