SEATTLE DANCER is dead

world record yearling died of a heart attack

SEATTLE DANCER, with $13.100.000 still the most expansive yearling ever sold at a public auction died in his paddock. Due to fertility problems he had to be retired from stud duties earlier this breeding season.

After beeing imported to Germany by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK as one of the best sons of NIJINSKY at stud, he started his stint in Germany in best possible way, being Europe´s leading sire of 2yo´s in 2006 with his first German conceived crop.

Hopefully his 3yo ZUCKERPUPPE will do him proud in winning the Grosser Zentis Stutenpreis, L. in Krefeld on Sunday.
