11/01/23 Gaja foaled a nice filly by Mehmas

The first foal of the season 2023 at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN was welcomed at 20:11 when the Stakes placed and multiple winner GAJA (RULER OF THE WORLD-GALLIVANT) foaled a filly by MEHMAS, one of the leading young sires in Europe, for GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG.

Nearly two weeks early this is the 1st foal for her dam GAJA, who visits the Champion First Season Sire HAVANA GREY in 2023. GAJA is bred on the same cross as multiple Gr.1 winner IRIDESSA, being by Derby winner RULER OF THE WORLD out of a mare by DANEHILL.

GAJA is the sole daughter of GALLIVANT kept by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG. Her dam GALLIVANT won twice at 2 years and is herself a daughter of the 2yo Gr.1 winner GAY GALLANTA.
