The 3yo colt NIGHT OF LIGHTNING by NIGHT OF THUNDER won a shade cosily his Maiden on his first start of the season at Compiegne. Owned by 3S Racehorse Management, trained by Hiroo Shimizu and ridden by Simon Planque, NIGHT OF LIGHTNING raced only once at 2 years and got just beaten by FIRST MINISTER who won the Prix Hocquart, Gr.3 last week.

NIGHT OF LIGHTNING was purchased by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales for his PINHOOKING SYNDICATE, raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN where he was prepped for the Arqana August Yearling Sales as well. He was consigned by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK and sold to Paul Cole for his current connections.
