The 2yo filly LADY MARY (Lawman-La Reine Noir) is beaten just by a head in the Preis der Winterkönigin, Gr.3, the most important 2yo race for fillies in Germany. Trained by Andreas Suborics and ridden by Martin Seidl the filly can be seen as a little bit unlucky not to have succeeded, as she was boxed in by Andrasch Starke on the winner SHAGARA in an important part of the race. However, she made her breeders and owners GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG to feel very proud of the close relation to their Gr.1 winner LADY MARIAN
LADY MARY is  born and raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and is out of LA REINE NOIR by RAINBOW QUEST, a sister to the afore mentioned LADY MARIAN and the Gr.3 winner LUCIDOR among others. She is a 3rd Generation homebred for her breeders as LA CONCORDIA by SURUMU was purchased privately by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK as one of the foundation mares for GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG and that before her own sisters LA COLORADA became the dam of Gr.1 winner LOMITAS, as well as LA VIRGINIA the dam of Gr.1 winners LAVIRCO and LAVERON,.
