The 1st foal of the 2024 season at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN is a quality colt by HAVANA GREY out of the Stakes placed multiple winner GAJA. The foal is bred by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG, for whom this was the 1st foal of the season as well. The colt was born at 17:45, so a really convenient time for the whole team and on top was born easily and up and running quickly after birth.

The colt by HAVANA GREY is the second foal out of GAJA, having produced a filly by MEHMAS in 2023 GAJA is booked to MUHAARAR in 2024.

GAJA herself is the last and best product out of the dual 2yo winner GALLIVANT by DANEHILL, who was purchased by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at the Tattersalls December Sales back in 2010 and was sold at the Arqana Breeding Stock Sales in 2016. GALLIVANT is a daughter of the 2yo Gr.1 winner GAY GALLANTA and sister to the mutiple 2yo Gr.2 winner and Gr.1 placed BYRON. It is the high class family of A P INDY, DUKE OF MARMALADE, GAY MECENE, WOLFHOUND and finally RULER OF THE WORLD, who is the sire of GAJA as well.
