18/02/24 2nd foal at Schlossgut Itlingen is a filly by Saxon Warrior ...

The multiple 2yo winner and Stakes placed BELLE ANGLAISE foaled a filly by the 2yo Gr.1 and 3yo 2000 Guineas winner SAXON WARRIOR for her breeders GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN.

This is the second foal for BELLE ANGLAISE, her first is a 2yo colt by DARK ANGEL, who is in training with Stuart Williams in Newmarket and looks like an early runner for the mare, which was not covered in 2022 and so has no yearling this year.

BELLE ANGLAISE herself was purchased by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK as a foal at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales for GNS10.000 only. Her dam BELLE ALLEMANDE was bred by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG in Canada as her dam QUI BID was leased by the couple in 1998 and send to ROYAL ACADEMY that year. However, she was sold as a yearling at Arqana and now a member of the family, which was a major pacemaker for GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG.  QUI BID had had produced QUE BELLE by SEATTLE DANCER and became a dual Classic winner in the champagne and bordeaux colours having been purchased by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK back in 1995 at the Goffs Orby Sales.
