08/03/24 2 foals this evening at Schlossgut Itlingen

A quick double of foals were born at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN this evening. First delivered REIMAGINED (Gleneagles-Rusookh) a colt by VICTOR LUDORUM at 20:02 and at 20:08 GOLDEN WHIP (Seattle Dancer-Genevra) followed with a filly by BLUEPOINT. Both mares are owned by GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG and whereas the unraced REIMAGINED had her 2nd foal and 2nd colt by the same sire, the multiple Stakeswinner GOLDEN WHIP had her 7th foal and 6th filly. Her only colt, who was an own brother to this years filly had to be put down due to a fractured elbow. 

REIMAGINED is out of RUSSOKH, an unraced sister by NAYEF to the Gr.1 placed MOTAMARIS and the dams of Gr.1 winner SANTIAGO, the Gr.1 placed LA JACONDE and the 2yo Gr.3 winners GROSVERNOR SQUARE and GLOUNTHAUNE. The next dam has produced the Gr.1 winner TAMAYUZ by NAYEF and his own sister Muhawalah, the dam of Gr.1 winner ESHAADA. It is the family of GALILEO and SEA THE STARS. RUSOOKH was purchased at Arqana by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK back in 2013 and was sold there this year in foal to TORQUATOR TASSO. REIMAGINED is most likely to be covered by MUHAARAR, the sire of ESHAADA.

GOLDEN WHIP is the only daughter which GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG have kept out of the multiple Stakeswinner GENEVERA by DANEHILL. GENEVRA was purchased by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK as yearling back in 1995 at the then Goffs Sportsman Sale. She won three Stakesraces and was 2nd in a Gr.3 at 2 years. All her offspring were winners, but GOLDEN WHIP became her best, winning two Stakesraces in the care of Waldemar Hickst. So far she is the dam of 2 semi-blacktyped fillies. Unfortunatley she does not keep her pregnancy when she has a foal at foot and so she will not be covered in 2024.
