Shortly after 17:30 FANTASTIC FLAME died.

The loss of FANTASTIC FLAME is quite emotional, as the mare was a wonderful character and such a good servant for her owners Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg. The own sister to GERMANO was purchased out of the dispersal of Carlos Stelling at the Tattersalls December Sales 2000 and produced very good results on the racecourse and sales ring. BAHAMIAN DANCER, FAIRFIELD FLAME and FREEZE THE FLAME were her Pattern performers and her offspring fetched some really good prizes at various sales.

However the colt was adopted by a foster mare, and is seen relaxing with his new mom just less than 24 hours after his dam died.
